Upcoming electronic gaming machine licensing hearings

Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group

The Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group has applied to place 40 machines at the Commercial Hotel in South Morang, in the City of Whittlesea. The hearing is scheduled for 15 November and is open to the public.

Watsonia RSL Sub-branch

The Watsonia RSL Sub-branch in the City of Banyule has applied to increase the number of machines at its clubrooms from 83 to 103. The hearing is scheduled for 21 November and is open to the public.

Warrnambool Knowledge Exchange

The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation is hosting a knowledge exchange where industry stakeholders, local government and the community can share knowledge and expertise about gambling and liquor regulation issues.

Using a combination of presentations and Q&A panel sessions, participants are encouraged to provide feedback about the trends they have experienced and the challenges they face.

Guest speakers include representatives from:

  • the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation
  • the Australian Drug Foundation’s Good Sports program
  • Victoria Police
  • industry.

Date: Thursday 10 November
Time: Registration is at 9.45 am, event commences 10 am
Location: Warrnambool Football Netball Club, Cramer Street, Warrnambool
