I highly believe that the reason people turn to gambling, drugs and alcohol is to fill a gap that they may feel in themselves. Or it’s a learned behaviour because other people around them have shown them that this is a way to spend your time. Or it’s about that quick fix.

It's like, oh ok, the adrenalin that comes from am I going to win? And the odds, and sometimes the odds of winning a gambling thing are sometimes better than the odds of winning at life, where some of us come from.

So I think holistically, there’s many benefits to sport as a vehicle to help us with many different areas.
