Responsible Gambling Awareness Week 2015
12–18 October 2015
Responsible Gambling Awareness Week promotes the concept of responsible gambling at an individual, gaming industry and community level. It's coordinated by the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation in partnership with local government, the gaming industry and community groups.

Upcoming electronic gaming machine (EGM) licencing hearings
West Waters Hotel
On 18 August 2015, the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation will hear an application from CSJV Nominees Pty Ltd to increase the number of EGMs from 80 to 90 at the West Waters Hotel in the City of Melton.
The Yarraville Club
The Yarraville Club in the City of Maribyrnong has applied for an increase of 25 EGMs, in addition to their existing 78 licensed machines. See the commission's website for documents relating to the application by Yarraville Club Inc., and confirmation of the hearing date.
Glenroy RSL
The Glenroy RSL in the City of Moreland has applied for an increase of 10 EGMs, in addition to their existing 40 licensed machines. See the commission's website for documents relating to the application by Glenroy RSL Sub Branch, and confirmation of the hearing date.
Wangaratta Knowledge Exchange
The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation is hosting a knowledge exchange where industry stakeholders, local government and the community can share knowledge and expertise about current gambling and liquor regulation issues. The forum will include presentations from:
- the commission
- a local licensee
- Victoria Police
- the Australian Drug Foundation's Good Sports program
- the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation.
